Hello my name is Makenzie Lopez and I am an 18 years old, first year student at Daytona State College. My determined major is Elementary Education but my goal is to be a traveling teacher and teach English. I always wanted to travel and I have been interested in different cultures and languages for as long as I can remember. My hobbies are painting, reading, traveling, and working out.
My Project:
My poster is on the issue of Fine Dust in South Korea and its health issues. The issue is not talked about a lot so being informed about the pollution in Korea is vital to fine a problem to fix it. Wanting to travel to Korea during the summer is a risky thing because people can get serious diseases and infections if being exposed to the dust. I inform the audience about what it is and the medical problems it causes, where it come from, and ask the question if factories should slow down production, stop it, or keep going, knowing that people are getting sick. Asking these questions will hopefully get people interested in the production industry in Asia and find a common ground or solution to the Fine Dust concern.
